A while back, I thought it would be a lark to take over the metafilter thread that shares my MeFi user number. It was a quite out of the way thread and nobody was using it for anything. Eventually, I started feeling bad about wasting server resources, so I stopped. The point you ask? Well, I needed a page well in the archives so I could test TrackBack again and see if it was cosmic rays that prevented me the first time. This one seemed like a good choice.

Hmm. It seems to have worked that time. I guess it was cosmic rays.

I remember seeing this done somewhere before. (Albeit, not with trackback). I was thinking of trying to get trackback working this week. Maybe I should do the same. Let’s see if we can increase the load on Matt’s new server (insert maniacal laugh here).
