So I’m driving back from lunch, and a promo for one of the local news shows come up. You know the type of Special Report promos where they try to up ratings by scarring you into watching. Sort of like, Is your toilette paper silently killing you? Tune in Monday to find out what you need to know about this common household object.
Yeah well, this time around they were promoting a story about gangs on the internet – which is already really funny. But here’s where they pull out the big guns. They tag the promo with this: “Gangs on the Internet, and anybody can join with just a single click.”
I swear to you I was laughing so hard, I almost drove into the car in front of me. They have truly scrapped the bottom of the scare them barrel. You just know that somewhere there is a news director or 50 praying for the next terrorist attack on US soil.
