Netscape CSS Problem

Looks like I fixed a CSS error that was causing the background color and image of my banner DIV not to show up. For those of you playing along at home, it turns out that while IE is happy to let you set a left and top position for a background image within the DIV, Netscape chokes on that and refuses to display it at all. So I added a little padding to the actual background of my image to position it old-school style, and problem solved. Take that pesky Netscape/Mozilla CSS problem.

Now if only I could figure out why pinging weblogs.com causes an error. Maybe I’ll work on that one next month.

Of course it goes without saying that the fix applies to current versions of Netscape. If you’re still using 4.x well then there isn’t much I can do to help you now is there?

Cool, I fixed the ping problem as well. Maybe that means that next month I can redesign or actually put my portfollio online.
