Cool Animation Technique
The Video for Bright Eyes song “Bowl of Oranges” is pretty interesting. It’s a little like claymation except they appear to be using yarn and cut out pieces of paper. Pretty cool, go check it out (site requires free registration).

Look At me
I would expect to find Look At me to be very compelling. But, most of the photos I ducked in to look at were all posed. I find posed photos way less interesting than candids. Who wants to see people being self-aware? Well, unless they are VERY self aware (NSFW). Which is interesting in entirely…

If it hadn’t been for those damn kids

All We Need Is Love
Love Within Us (4+ Meg Flash book) So why not take a theme like love — which many would likely dismiss as overrated, banal, mushy, soft, and lame — and express what it means to you at present, despite the gloomy outlook of our collective futures? I find that I like the concept more than…

Oh My God
Dude! Wheelbarrowfreestyle is like a joke or somthing right? The sound track to their first, original video is going to have me going “oh my god” in a high falsetto for the rest of the night. Plus, on an unrelated note, I was listening the DirectTV’s Progressive/Adult Alternative music station and they played Til Tuesday…

willnot – Will Not
Oh, I love me the puns. Particularly Meta-puns. There was a time when I’d check MetaFilter once or twice a day (frequently, a lot more often than that – it can be a compulsion). Most days, I still check MetaFilter once or twice a day. But anymore, I gotta think that once or twice a…

I ignored the links to these Weight Watchers recipe cards back when they were posted to MeFi and… and well everywhere really. I was a fool!!!! If you haven’t seen these yet you really, really have to go check them out. If you have seen them, well, maybe you’d like to see them again. It’s…

That’s the Stuff Man
After watching for all of 30 seconds, I can already see that the TV show Black Sash is going to be spectacularly bad. I’m going to LOVE! WATCHING! THIS! SHOW!
