For those of you playing along at home, it turns out that while IE is happy to let you set a left and top position for a background image within the DIV, Netscape chokes on that and refuses to display it at all. So I added a little padding to the actual background of my image to position it old-school style, and problem solved. Take that pesky Netscape\/Mozilla CSS problem. <\/p>\n<p>Now if only I could figure out why pinging weblogs.com causes an error.
