All we need to do is pay attention to what the Internet really is. It’s not hard. The Net isn’t rocket science. It isn’t even 6th grade science fair, when you get right down to it. We can end the tragedy of Repetitive Mistake Syndrome in our lifetimes — and save a few trillion dollars’ worth of dumb decisions — if we can just remember one simple fact: the Net is a world of ends. You’re at one end, and everybody and everything else are at the other ends.
Word! I know they’re just preaching to the quire (a quire that I suspect is going to link this like mad over the next couple of days), but maybe some of the fools who are trying so hard to break it to their will, will read this and rethink their positions. Possible? No, probably not. The best we can do is help those fools to the self-destruction they seem so hell bent on rushing towards. I just wish they didn’t have such a strong grip on you and me since they’re pulling us all right down with them.
